Book Review

Arnie the Doughnut
By Laurie Keller

This book is about a donut becoming a dog.
First the doughnut got made, then the store opened,
and then the doughnut got brought by Mr Bing.
Mr Bing and the doughnut made a list of things the
doughnut could be, but he wasn't good for any of them,
but when he walked past a “No Dog” sign he thought that
would be a good idea, to become a dog.

I liked this book because it was funny and I like doughnuts
and liked how the doughnut turned into a dog.  My favourite
part was when the doughnut almost got eaten by Mr Bing,
but Arnie yelled out “what are you doing”.

  1. Jai, I remember when we watched and listened to this story in Tane Mahuta, I thought it was an awesome story. Did you listen to it on Storyline? Thanks for sharing your book review, I wonder if there is a way you could link the Youtube clip to your blog post?
